John saw an astonishing vision of the future, and recorded it in the book of Revelation. It is the fearful day of reckoning, that future, inescapable day when each person has to give account for the thoughts and deeds of life. God is a God of justice, and will leave no evil unpunished. But Jesus came to the earth so that we can be saved from the punishment due us, for we are all horribly guilty before God. He willingly took on the cross the punishment we deserve. Will your name be found in the book of life on that day, because you believed the message of Jesus and put your trust in Him?
