Then I saw a great white throne,
and Him who was seated upon the throne.
Earth and sky fled from his presence,
and no place was found for them.
And I saw the dead, great and small,
standing before the throne of God.

The sea gave up the dead in it;
Death and hades gave up their dead.
Books were opened, the dead were judged,
according to what they had done.
Then I saw another book,
which was indeed the book of life.

Death and hades were thrown into
the lake of fire, the second death.
Names were called, from the book of life ,
the list of God's chosen ones.
Those whose names were not found there,
were thrown into the lake of fire.

Then I saw a new heaven
and a new earth, the first had passed away,
Then I saw the Holy City,
new Jerusalem, coming down from God.
Then I heard a voice from the throne,
"Now God dwells with his own, and He will be their God."
